Subject: 4/16 BPEL4People TC Meeting - Cancelled
Further to Luc's comment - it was my judgement that with more issues imminent and only a short list in hand, it wasn't cost (time) effective to convene this week - I wish to respect the TC member's time! Given this elaboration if you are still concerned about the cancellation please speak up ... thanks. The recommendation to Dave was simply to pass on Wed's meeting to provide an opportunity for more issues to be proposed. Nothing more. As for completing the "first-pass", that isn't the case; first any issue needs to be discussed by the TC and then assigned to the SC for disposition. -----Original Message----- From: Martin Chapman [mailto:martin.chapman@oracle.com] Sent: Monday, April 14, 2008 11:11 To: 'Dave Ings'; bpel4people@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: RE: [bpel4people] 4/16 BPEL4People TC Meeting - Cancelled I strongly disagree with cancelling and with giving the editing sub-committee any powers to analyse issues. Until an issue is opened by a full TC committee vote, no one should really spend any time on an issue. Aside from the Issues editor entering the issue into JIRA, there is no defined role of the editing SC prior to an issue being opened by the TC. Please re-consider re-instating the meeting, and letting the TC formally open issues and get started.
