Subject: [bpel4people] BP-20: Extensibility of BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask
Attached is a set of slides I would like to use for walking through different extensibility aspects --- general language extensibility (BP-20) --- concrete extensibility of generic human roles (BP-12) (See attached file: B4P-20 - Extensibility.ppt) Kind Regards Dieter König Senior Technical Staff Member, WebSphere Process Server Architect IBM Software Group, Application and Integration Middleware Software WSS Business Process Solutions Phone: +49-7031-16-3426 IBM Deutschland (Embedded image moved to file: pic00641.gif) E-Mail: dieterkoenig@de.ibm.com Schönaicher Str. 220 71032 Böblingen Germany IBM Deutschland Research & Development GmbH / Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats: Martin Jetter Geschäftsführung: Erich Baier Sitz der Gesellschaft: Böblingen / Registergericht: Amtsgericht Stuttgart, HRB 243294 From: "Luc Clement" <luc.clement@activevos.com> To: <bpel4people@lists.oasis-open.org> Date: 10.06.2008 13:18 Subject: [bpel4people] BP-20: Title: Extensibility of BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask Assigned: http://www.osoa.org/jira/browse/BP-20 -----Original Message----- From: Dieter Koenig1 [mailto:dieterkoenig@de.ibm.com] Sent: Tuesday, June 10, 2008 04:48 To: bpel4people@lists.oasis-open.org Subject: [bpel4people] NEW ISSUE: Extensibility of BPEL4People and WS-HumanTask TARGET: BPEL4People Working Draft 02 and WS-HumanTask Working Draft 02 DESCRIPTION: Both specs need to clarify the extensibility of the respective languages. As an example, it should be defined how to introduce new generic human roles for human tasks (standalone or in the context of BPEL process) - the current version of the B4P/HTD XML Schema definitions only define a fixed list of generic human roles. This new issue is an outcome of a discussion of issue 12 (http://www.osoa.org/jira/browse/BP-12) which is about the possible values for generic human role parameters on API operations. The resolution of issue 12 is therefore dependent on a resolution of the general extensibility addressed in this issue. PROPOSAL: None so far.
