At the F2F, it was noted that this inconsistency also exists for setPriority.

 

We voted to resolve this issue with the following:

 

    Change 6.1.1 to allow potential owners to add attachments and setPriority, but only in the ready state.

DESCRIPTION:

 

Section 6.1.1 says that addAttachment() is only available to actual owners and administrators.  However, section 3.1 says that potential owners “can influence the progress of the task, for example by changing the priority of the task, adding ad-hoc attachments or comments.”

 

PROPOSED RESOLUTION:

 

Allow potential owners to add attachments.
