Subject: Fw: [bpel4people] BP-105 - Resolution Proposal
Dear B4P TC members, please find attached a minor revision (change-marked) of the resolution proposal for BP-105. (See attached file: BP-105 - Subtask Event Propagation - Update 2009-09-16.doc) By explicit copy to Mike R.: the BP-105 resolution proposal is about event propagation to/from subtasks and tries to consolidate and simplify the behavior previously described in several different spec sections 4.9.x. With respect to suspend/resume events, I would like to point you to the fact that it overrides the previous resolution of BP-106. Because of that, the TC decided to table the motion to resolve BP-105 until you have a chance to look at it. The document contains a revision of WS-HT section 4.9: -- combined spec sections 4.9.4 - 4.9.8 into a single section in order to remove redundancy -- replaced bulleted lists by a single table showing all effects on sub tasks and parent tasks for better readability -- simplified normative suspend/resume behavior for sub tasks: always propagate and ignore if not applicable (overrides BP-106) -- simplified normative complete behavior for sub tasks: exit instead of skip -- simplified normative fail/error behavior for parent tasks: always fail if activation pattern is automatic, otherwise no effect on parent task (See attached file: BP-105 - Subtask Event Propagation.doc) Kind Regards Dieter König Senior Technical Staff Member, WebSphere Process Server Architect IBM Software Group, Application and Integration Middleware Software WSS Business Process Solutions Phone: +49-7031-16-3426 IBM Deutschland (Embedded image moved to file: pic10941.gif) E-Mail: dieterkoenig@de.ibm.com Schönaicher Str. 220 71032 Böblingen Germany IBM Deutschland Research & Development GmbH / Vorsitzender des Aufsichtsrats: Martin Jetter Geschäftsführung: Erich Baier Sitz der Gesellschaft: Böblingen / Registergericht: Amtsgericht Stuttgart, HRB 243294 [attachment "BP-105 - Subtask Event Propagation.doc" deleted by Dieter Koenig1/Germany/IBM] [attachment "pic10941.gif" deleted by Dieter Koenig1/Germany/IBM] --------------------------------------------------------------------- To unsubscribe from this mail list, you must leave the OASIS TC that generates this mail.
