BTP Issue 13 : Definition of Terminator
Category: editorial
Submitter: Gordon Hamilton, AppliedTheory
Pages: 15,20, 21
Description:
Other than the "A Terminator is usually an application element", there does not seem to be a clear delineation of what a Terminator is. I understand that it is outside of the scope of this spec to some extent but it certainly has a linchpin role. I believe, from reading between the lines, that the Terminator is the instigator of the original Context being sent out, and a description or example might give folks a "handle" or context of their own. For example it would explain why an Inferior has decided to ENROL in a BT.
