Subject: RE: [bt-spec] BTP Issue 62 : Names of the relationships (0.9.0.4solution)

No problem.

But as general point, at any time, a 0.9.x draft is liable to be an "editor's convenience draft", incorporating unagreed proposed changes. 0.9.0.2 is the current agreed draft; after Wednesday it will either be 0.9.0.4 (if they all go yes), or there won't immediately be an agreed draft (until some editing work is done)

Please ignore...OORPMS (Out of Order Reading of Pending Mails Syndrome :)...vote is scheduled for tomorrow's meeting. Sorry for the spam.

You must have guessed that we may have alternate proposal :). Keep guessing...

Was there any vote on this issue? Did I miss it? If not, then it should not go into the draft.

This change has been applied in 0.9.0.4, using the names as convenient labels for the sets of relationships - outcome includes both Superior:Inferior and Enroller:Superior, control includes both Initiator:Factory and Terminator:Decider. The names are used semi-informally - as headings for the sublists of abstract message types.

BTP Issue 62 : Names of the relationships
Category: minor technical
Submitter: Alastair Green, Choreology
Description:
The two distinct relationships in BTP are called "Superior:Inferior" and "Terminator:Decider" in 0.9. These names are cumbersome, and in the latter case, not very accurate - the client-end application to coordination-facility relationship includes Initiator:Factory. Simple names would clarify.

The names "Control" relationship and "Outcome" relationship are suggested.
