Detail: Because two different types of Terminators exist in BTP, it would be better to tell which messages are for which type of Terminator. For instance, CANCER or CANCEL/inferiors is only for composer?Tony's thoughts:Since the splitting of the relationships into Outcome and Control, it is now clear in the BTP spec (version 9.1.3) that CANCEL is only used on the Outcome (Superior : Inferior) relationship. It is now clear that CANCEL_TRANSACTION is sent on the Control (Terminator : Decider) relationship - from Terminator to the Decider - and may be sent to a Decider (Coordinator) or Decider (Composer). CANCEL_INFERIORS (new name for what was CANCEL/inferiors) may only be sent from a Terminator to a Decider (Composer). It is used to cancel the relationship between the Decider 'node' and one, or more, of its inferiors (up to and including all is current inferiors). However, it does not cancel the cohesion - new inferiors may still be enrolled into this cohesion.Proposed solution:No Change required to version 9.1.3 (and later)Note: Editorial corrections were needed to the version of the BTP spec that this issue was raised against, but the necessary editorial corrections and clarifications have been applied in version 9.1.3 as a side effect of processing other issues into the text.Best Regards TonyA M FletcherChoreology Ltd., 13 Austin Friars, London EC2N 2JX UKTel: +44 (0) 20 76701787 Mobile: +44 (0) 7801 948219tony.fletcher@choreology.com (Home: amfletcher@iee.org)
