Subject: RE: [Interop] Demonstration

Mark

I think that this makes sense, but as I have said previously, while we have
started work on our implementation it may or may not be ready for an actual
demo at the f2f it will depend on where we get to by that time. We are
building BTP capabilities in the context of our product offering and to that
end developing the documentation you detailed in the mail as well as a
demonstration application.

We have started with the Provision side (BTP aware Services, with a
non-compliant test coordinator) and are moving onto the more interesting/
challenging side of consumption and compliant coordination.

I will be able to talk about this, and bring the engineers working on the
demo possibly, and supply some doc but as I said I am unsure about the
actual demo...

Just trying to manage expectations.

Subject: [Interop] Demonstration

Based on response to date and the compressed schedule of the specification
development, I think we should move formally to providing separate company
BTP demonstrations. We have heard formally from Mark Potts (Talking Blocks)
and Mark Little (HP Arjuna Labs) and they are in a position to show a
demonstration. I know that Alastair Green (Choreology) has posted a
demonstration on-line.

To complete this task, I suggest that these three companies submit before
the final f2f to be held later this month:

- A description of your BTP demonstration
- Discussion on portions of the specification that are useful
- Discussion on implementation challenges for the specification

I ask Pal allocate time from the schedule for us to see demonstrations and
to discuss implementation challenges as a group so that we can learn and
improve.

	Thanks,

	Mark
