Subject: as:choiceID
Martin Roberts added the following comment to the OASIS-CAM-Specifications-1_0-RC-017C-021904.doc document in the OASIS Content Assembly Mechanism TC Group. The are a couple of concerns with the references to as:choiceID. In table 4.7.1.2: the setID ends up becoming the as:choiceID. This seems incorrect. There may be other reasons for using an ID. I think that set ID should put the tag as:setID="label". It should alos be noted that this ID does not work as an XML ID as you may label several sections with the same ID. Also figure 4.7.1.1 lines 862,866,872 has as:choiceID on the Structure node. The Structure node is NOT addressable from the the BusinessUseContext. Also the Structure already has a mandatory ID field which can be used by a processor to indicate which structure to apply the rules to. This ID is also used by the External Mappings section. ACTION. Remove use of as:choiceID from inline predicates.
