Subject: CAM and SOA - data services layer

Team,

Nice to see that other people are seeing the value of tools like CAM to SOA environments.

In fact making information alignment seamless is clearly the looming challenge for SOA as it connects more systems together more rapidly but then causes expanding needs to support multiple information formats across all those interfaces.

Webinar: Data Services: the Missing Link in Your SOA Strategy?
Date: May 29, 2007
Time: 12:00 pm US EST

Many organizations are moving ahead quickly with their SOA initiatives by implementing ESBs and creating Web services. However, neither of these technologies on their own will deliver business agility or bottom line ROI.

A successful SOA strategy must also ensure that payload data is consistent, reliable and of high quality. One of the key areas missing from many SOA strategies is the data services layer for extracting and mapping semantic meaning, managing data quality, and data policies. Tune into this webinar to learn:
- Why data services are essential for delivering on the promise of SOA agility
- How data services can enhance data quality and consistency
- How data services can speed SOA implementations
- How semantic-based data services can transform, translate and restructure data that other methods can't
- Best practices for building a data services layer within your SOA
