The spec says:
"At any time, the Application Administrator can also create an Application Component using an Application Component Template (to create a standalone service, for example) and the corresponding Platform Components will be created to support that component"

Won't such an application component be part of an assembly (as indicated in the diagram)? Not sure why this statement is in there.
