About (2) above: what would  be the meaning of an AssemblyTemplate  that has no ref to any  ApplicationComponentTemplates ? Isn't that inconsistent with the original intent :  "Assembly Template represents the definition of the deployable Application",  if you prohibit an (empty)  AssemblyTemplate  to be instantiated?
