Adrian,

Process wise I am not sure what you are proposing here. The issue is resolved and its up to the editors to apply the changes using their discretion.
If there is ambiguity in the resolution then we should reopen and discuss.
With that in mind, can you clarify what the "alternate proposal" is meant to address?
