confused about Alex's 3rd example DP

I'm confused about some aspects of the 3rd example:

Specifically, lines 22-46 seem to define a component of type 
"JBoss7Server" yet there doesn't seem to be any artifact associated with 
this component (e.g. a machine image or an installation file, etc.) 
Also, the idea of supplying an app server as a component in a PDP seems 
counter-intuitive. Surely app servers should supplied by the platform 
and modeled as a Platform Component.

I would like to keep the PDP and its contained DP conceptually simple. 
"Components" should be things that are supplied by the Application 
Developer or Application Admin. Components should use requirements to 
indicate the services and facilities required to support the component. 
Modeling requirements as a form of component just confuses things.
