Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Updated: (CAMP-72) Error Response Message Resource looks like relic of a bygone age

Gilbert Pilz updated CAMP-72:
-----------------------------

    Proposal: https://www.oasis-open.org/apps/org/workgroup/camp/download.php/51309/camp-spec-v1.1-wd28-72.doc

Add a link to the concrete proposal in Kavi.

This proposal deletes the sections that defined the error response message and moves the general material on the use of HTTP status codes to Section6, "Protocol". It also borrows from the proposal for CAMP-83 by adding a normative statement to the moved section: "Providers SHALL return HTTP codes according to their common interpretation." Although "common interpretation" is difficult to encode in a test assertion, I think it well understood by the development community.

> Section 5.4, "Error Response Message Resource", is a relic from the oldest drafts of CAMP 1.0. We need to review the usefulness of defining such a thing and, if we decide it still has merit, the way in which we describe this message.
