Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CAMP-110) Values for "attributeType" are not clearly defined.

Gilbert Pilz commented on CAMP-110:
-----------------------------------

This is a niggly little issue about spec completeness.

In section 5.20.2 (WD 29) we describe the "attributeType" attribute of the AttributeDefinition Resource as follows:
--
This attribute specifies the type of the attribute that this resource represents. For example, "String", "Timestamp".
--

The idea is to tie it back into the common types defined in section 5.1, but I don't think that the "For example" does a sufficiently rigorous job of defining the possible values of this attribute. We might use labels like 'Timestamp' in the text of our spec, but we don't say anywhere that the literal string "Timestamp" identifies an attribute of type Timestamp.
