Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] (CAMP-215) sensor resource has no "units" attribute
Gilbert Pilz created CAMP-215: --------------------------------- Summary: sensor resource has no "units" attribute Key: CAMP-215 URL: https://issues.oasis-open.org/browse/CAMP-215 Project: OASIS Cloud Application Management for Platforms (CAMP) TC Issue Type: Bug Components: Spec Affects Versions: 1.2 Environment: CAMP v1.2, WD 09 Reporter: Gilbert Pilz Assignee: Anish Karmarkar Priority: Minor The "sensors resource" represents some sort of measurement of the target assembly or component. Although the "value" attribute can be any JSON value (including an array or object) in the majority of cases it is expected that the value will be either a number or a string. In cases where the value is a number, the number is meaningless unless there is some indication of the units. In cases where the value is a string, it is possible that the string will contain the units (e.g. "12 ms"). Overall the choice of number, string, array, or object seems too open-ended to promote any sort of interoperability. -- This message was sent by Atlassian JIRA (v6.2.2#6258)
