Subject: Fwd: [cgmo-webcgm] txtpth03.cgm ATA test suite issue

All,

The NIST file is correct, I was looking at a version we generated from
some of our legacy software. Sorry for the question.

Except why is this file not in the WebCGM test suite.

Forrest

Subject: [cgmo-webcgm] txtpth03.cgm ATA test suite issue
X-Hops: 1

All,

In testing some of our new software with the ATA test suite, I ran across a
file that I am not sure the gif image is correct. In the WebCGM test suite
this file is not included. In the WebCGM test suite the txtpth03.cgm is the
same as txtpth02.cgm except for the name in the title block.
(was this intentionally?)

This file has vdc extent defined as (1000,1000) (0,0) so according to page 24 and
25 of the 1999 version of the standard, a text path of down would be toward
the toward the top of the page. Our software displays the word down going toward
the top of the page and the gif image has the word down going toward the bottom
of the page.

Anyone else have any opinions about this file?

Thanks
Forrest
