Hello Benoit,

There are two options to go to the hotel.

1.) You can take a taxi from the airport to the hotel, it will cost
approximately ? 77,- ?

2.) Or you can take the interurban train No 8 (S-Bahn) to the stopping
place -East-Railroadstation- (Ost-Bahnhof),
than interurban train No. 5 (S-Bahn) to Taufkirchen, from this station to
the hotel will be 5 Minutes. You can see it from the train.
Here the hotel address:

Holiday Inn Munchen-Unterhaching
Inselkammerstra?e 7-9
82008 Unterhaching
phone 0049-89-66691-0
Reservation from 13 to 17 of February.

If you need any futher detail please contact me.

Bon voyage :)
Beatrix

Hi Beatrix,

I was wondering if you could give me some advice on the recommended
way to get from the Munich airport to the holiday inn hotel?

  Cheers,

I believe Beatrix was talking in Euros. The train should be much
cheaper.

Here's a website that I use to get some information about the DB
lines: http://reiseauskunft.bahn.de/bin/query.exe/en?

I entered 'Munich airport' and 'Taufkirchen' (but more specifically
'Taufkirchen (Kreis München) Bahnhof') with my arrival date and time.
It seems to match the information Beatrix gave me. Hopefully I have
the right Taufkirchen? :-)

The train seems to leave every 20 mins and the ride takes about 1
hour. You can also print out the S-8 and S-5 stops by selecting 'Show
intermediate stops'.

See you in Munich!

Tschüs!
