Lofton, I don't have the MS Gothic font, so I'm going by the PNG image. Assuming that MS Gothic was used to generate the PNG file, I agree with your assignment for Design Group. The horizontal and vertical strokes have equal weight which rules out the Mincho sublass. The stem ends are very flat which rules out 5.5.2. So, 5.1.2 seems like a very good choice. I agree with you on structure as well; it is definitely 1 (solid). I think that 5.1.2 (p.64) is a reasonable match (that group contains helvetica). In which case the three integers in the FP design group property would be: 5, 1, 2. Does anyone disagree? (Does anyone agree?). The other possibility that came to mind was one of the designs of 4.12.x -- 4.12.1, or 4.12.2, or 4.12.3. Thoughts? Regardless of the choice of Design Group, I think structure is unabiguous: solid (1).
