I guess I was unclear.  Let's defer this for some weeks or
months.  Either it should be a part of 2.1 if there is a 2.1
project, or it should be a future erratum if there is no 2.1
project.  Listing it as part of 2.1's scope suffices -- it is a
requirement that we solve it eventually.  

Solving it in the next two weeks is unnecessary, and...  Having
lived with it for 8 years without serious consequence, we have much
better places to put our time and effort in the next few weeks.

If there is any action here, it is to confirm agreement:  does
anyone disagree that such clarifications should be part of 2.1?
