In our implementation we return the same value used in the setStyleProperety. For styles that can be set as a % or value in NVDC or a color we return a % if a % was used in the setStyle function, a value in NVDC if a NVDC value was used in the setStyle function, and a color value #XXXXXX if a color value was used in the setStyle function.
