Subject: RE: AW: [cgmo-webcgm] getObjectExtent tests [resending]
[...ugh!...stripping out embedded images, which seemed to cause previous message to go bonkers in my mail client...] Hi Stuart, I don't know what is happening. Using "Validate by file upload," I got the same result as Ulrich -- many errors. See his below screen-shot message (where he said that all errors disappeared with removal of the XML declaration. See also his comment about the 'meta' element.) So I tried the Validator tab "Validate by Direct Input". In a plain text editor, I did SelectAll on getObjectExtent.htm (attached), and pasted the resulting 111 lines into the Validator's direct-input window. I got the same results as you -- passed! Actually, one warning that said "Using Direct Input mode: UTF-8 character encoding assumed". Very strange ... the same file fails on my system (and Ulrich's) by upload option, and passes (but check 'meta'!) with direct-input option. Perhaps Thierry or someone else knows what is happening. -Lofton. [1] http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/cgmo-webcgm/200904/msg00124.htmlTitle: getObjectExtent Test Page
