Subject: Another WebCGM clarification question
If you look carefully at the definitions of 'subpara' and 'para', there is a little ambiguity... 'Para' says, in 3.2.1.3: "Viewer Behavior. The WebCGM prescription for priority of text search matching is: 'para' with matching 'content' (1st priority match); 'para' without 'content' but with recognizable single-element RESTRICTED TEXT match (2nd priority match); or, single-element RESTRICTED TEXT match, outside of any 'para' (3rd priority match). Further details of behavior of viewers with respect to identifiing matches or communicating the identity of matches is not specified in WebCGM 1.0. " 'Subpara' may also have 'content' APS attribute, and says: "Viewer Behavior. See 3.2.1.3, 'para'." A sensible interpretation of this would be that the quoted paragraph of 3.2.1.3 ought to have "'para' or 'subpara'" in those places where it currently says 'para'.
