Subject: extended nomination period for CGMO StC election

CGM Open Member Section --

There are two nominations for the two open Steering Committee seats: Stuart Galt and Don Larson. You may find their biographies in the MS documents section (you should have recently received email upon the uploading of those documents).

New OASIS rules require, in the case of an "uncontested" election, that nominations remain open for an additional two weeks. Therefore please see below the election announcement with revised schedule (the rest of it is unchanged.)

Thanks,
-Lofton Henderson

========== schedule-revised StC election announcement ==========

OASIS CGM Open Member Section --

The CGM Open (CGMO) Member Section (MS) is currently seeking to fill two seats on the Steering Committee (StC). One seat will serve a one year term due to a vacancy, and the other seat will serve the customary two year term. The CGMO Member Section Steering Committee consists of three seats, two of which are elected and third of which is allocated to the CGMO Program Director. The nominee receiving the most votes will serve a two-year term on the StC and the second nominee will serve a one year term.

The nomination and election procedures for the CGMO Steering Committee are defined collectively by two documents, the OASIS Member Section Policy [1] and the CGM Open Member Section Rules of Procedure (RoP) [2].
