Subject: New rules regarding public reviews
A question has been raised regarding CDs approved post-public review that had no substantive changes but have not yet been submitted for CS ballot and whether they would need to go for an additional 15-day review due to the TC Process changes effective 15 October. If the post-public review CD has been uploaded to docs.oasis-open.org, or if a request to upload the post-public review CD to docs.oasis-open.org is received by TC Administration on or before 14 October, no further review will be required. This will ensure that no further changes are made on or after 15 October without a public review. We will not, in all likelihood, get all of them QC'd and uploaded before Friday, but as long as a valid request is submitted you will not need to submit for another public review unless further changes are made. If you would like to submit a request, please send the following in an email message to tc-admin@oasis-open.org: link to the CD as approved in Kavi link to the meeting minutes or ballot showing TC agreed that there were no substantive changes and approved the CD link to the most recent public review announcement in http://lists.oasis-open.org/archives/tc-announce/ link to the comment resolution log Requests that do not contain the information listed above, or where the meeting minutes do not clearly state that the TC agreed that there were no substantive changes, will be rejected and an additional 15-day review will be required before proceeding with a Committee Specification ballot. You will see that the submission forms for Committee Specification ballot that will go into effect on 15 October require a link to a CSPRD or CD-PRD. A post-public review CD that was uploaded/requested to be uploaded to docs prior to 15 October will also be acceptable. I will add this to the FAQ as well.
