Subject: RE: [chairs] Question regarding JIRA notifications
Hi Chet, I find the Jira email notifications helpful. The nuisance comes from the granularity of the notifications in combination with the – in itself really nice – “click to edit” feature of Jira: getting an email for every change to every field is really annoying.
It would really help if that could be changed to getting at most one summary email per issue per hour or day.
An alternative would be to get only notifications when an issue is created or changes its status, plus the usual fine-grained notifications for “watched” issues. Best regards Ralf From: Chet Ensign [mailto:chet.ensign@oasis-open.org]
Thanks Kenneth. I don't know of a way that *I* can configure JIRA to send to individual emails. But I can set the events that trigger alerts (e.g. for open and close only) and as you note people can then choose to watch issues which will
send the updates to their personal email address. On Fri, Feb 9, 2018 at 10:35 AM, Kenneth Bengtsson <kbengtsson@efact.pe> wrote:
