Attendees: David Webber, Ram Kumar, Graham Lobsey,
                 Marcus Goncalves
Duration: 1 hour

* Ram introduced new members to the committee and every member
  introduced themselves
* Ram then provided an update of where xNAL and xCIL is. Ram mentioned that
  a new version of xAL (V1.2) and xCIL (V1.3) will soon be published in the
web
  site.
* Ram then explained how CIQ has generated considerable interest among other
  groups such as CPExchange, OTA, XNSORG and CEN. David promised to talk
  to DISA regarding this.
* The committee then discussed about the goal of integrating CIQ standards
with
   ebXML core components wich is key to the CIQ strategy. David said that he
knows
   well about the ebXML work and the groups and will look into what can be
done about this.
* It was then agreed that CIQ will look into UDDI & QIC structure for
integration
* Marcus said that he will targe the vertical markets to join CIQ given that
he has contacts
  with many vertical market companies

ACTION
-----------
* Ram to update the CIQ web site with new versions
* David to talk to DISA that supports OTA regarding CIQ
* David knows many members of the XML-EDI group who are from USPS and try to
generate
  interest on CIQ
* Marcus will targe the vertical markets and attract more members to CIQ
* David will try to see how CIQ can be integrated with ebXML
