Not sure what you are looking to build.  Going beyond the base CIQ schema model.

 

However - you can quickly pull the CIQ schema into CAM and then add rules / refine the data model that way.

 

Also generating the documentation of your exchange model is a snap.

We do have an CIQ XML Validation is based on Topologie not Schematron -- not sure if that helps?
