U can define the type of thoroughfare as 'odd', 
'even' or 'both' using the ThoroughfareTypeList enumeration. But remember that xAL is used to represent an address and you need some logic to chain the addresses as even, odd' or both using the type of thoroughfare information. XAL does not do this for you automatically, but provides the required information to do this.

This is for voter district boundary - so of course one side of the street can be in different district - and you chain along streets that form the boundary, something like:


This Street, Mytown, CA (odd); That Lane, Mytown, CA (even); Other Road, Mytown, CA (both), etc.
