Subject: RE: [ciq] FW: Reactions? Comments? (Proposal to put an Image in theCIQ Person <identifier> element )

Many thanks Ram

I'll let the list know which way we decide to go.

Not related to this particular request but as an aside, the NZ public service has released draft 'NZ profiles' if CIQ name and CIQ address for government agency consultation. We expect to finalise those early next year, and after that, we could also put them on OASIS CIQ for any member who wants to use them as a basis for other profiles.

Cheers

Colin

Colin,

The schema may be extended to support this or create a container schema that takes biometric data supported with party text data elements of CIQ if u do not want to break the CIQ standard compliance through customization.

Greetings all

It seems a bit of a 'shoe-horn' approach to my thinking, but I can understand the motivation not to go an reference another schema..

Thoughts anyone?

Subject: Image as Person identifier

Hi Colin,

In one of our services we treat person image as Biometric identifier. So can we use xPIL identifier element  to send image in message ( blob)? if not can you find out from CIQ community about the suitable element for image blob?

Regards

Venkat
