Subject: Re: [cmis] [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (CMIS-9) Namespaces usingwww.cmis.org need to be reworked
Re: the initial suggestion in CMIS-9 http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-9 > Perhaps we should consider a base namespace URL akin to: > http://docs.oasis-open.org/cmis/1.0 > and append to this base as needed for domain model, WSDL, and other schemas, such as: > http://docs.oasis-open.org/cmis/1.0/domain > and > http://docs.oasis-open.org/cmis/1.0/service/repository The OASIS BPEL TC model for NS URI does not match the rule in the updated Naming Guidelines document. The new pattern requires explicit use of an element /ns/ in the URI (path), in one of two positions. Please see: http://docs.oasis-open.org/specGuidelines/namingGuidelines/resourceNamingV08.html#uri-NS-root http://docs.oasis-open.org/specGuidelines/namingGuidelines/resourceNamingCommentaryV08.html#NS-pathElement Please feel free to contact me or Mary McRae for questions about the NS URI construction rules.
