Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-175) Fix query specificationfor CONTAINS()

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-175?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=10706#action_10706 ]

Florent Guillaume commented on CMIS-175:
----------------------------------------

Florian, <qualifier> is not repository-specific, it's defined in the BNF and corresponds to a table specification.
This qualifier is needed when you do a JOIN to specify unambiguously which joined table you're talking about for the fulltext search or for the tree lookup.

> The spec for the optional qualifier in CONTAINS() (line 924), IN_FOLDER() (line 976), and IN_TREE() (line 996) all read like this: "CONTAINS( [<qualifier>], <arg> )". So if the optional qualifier is not supplied, the function must be written as: "CONTAINS( , arg )" (with the bonus comma). BNF agrees.
