Hi Julian,
Is the globallyUniqueName supposed to be specifiable in the native UI of a repository? If yes, this would solve the problem. If the name is calculated by the repository it will not help, because the application is still not able to map the globallyUniqueName to the application specific property name.

my understanding is that the introduction of the globallyUniqueName 
solves this already (well, at least for those stores that are going to 
support it).
