Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-175) Fix query specificationfor CONTAINS()

    [ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-175?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11399#action_11399 ]

Ryan McVeigh commented on CMIS-175:
-----------------------------------

CMIS-211 was closed as a dupe, but may not be:

This issue was about the placement of the comma in or out of the optional bits ( [], vs [,] ). Florian said the description should also be improved (basically what this issue is), but then Florent said there is no issue, that the thing is described adequately by the BNF. However, I still contend that the text description in the spec contradicts the BNF and supports Florian's comment.

> The spec for the optional qualifier in CONTAINS() (line 924), IN_FOLDER() (line 976), and IN_TREE() (line 996) all read like this: "CONTAINS( [<qualifier>], <arg> )". So if the optional qualifier is not supplied, the function must be written as: "CONTAINS( , arg )" (with the bonus comma). BNF agrees.
