Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Commented: (CMIS-211) CONTAINS qualifierobject needs clarification.
[ http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-211?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=11624#action_11624 ] Florent Guillaume commented on CMIS-211: ---------------------------------------- Actually I just noticed the text for IN_FOLDER and IN_TREE, which avoid referring to the BNF syntax, and I feel is better. I tweaked it a bit: The value of this optional parameter SHALL be the name of one of the Virtual Tables listed in the FROM clause for the query. - If specified, then the predicate SHOULD only be applied to objects in the specified Virtual Table, but a repository MAY ignore the value of the parameter. Specifying this optional parameter is only useful when JOINs are used. - If not specified, then the predicate SHALL apply to all Virtual Tables listed in the FROM clause. > CONTAINS qualifier object needs clarification. > ---------------------------------------------- > > Key: CMIS-211 > URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-211 > Project: OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC > Issue Type: Bug > Components: Domain Model > Affects Versions: Draft 0.62 > Reporter: Ryan McVeigh > Assignee: Ethan Gur-esh > Priority: Minor > > Line 1605 - The qualifier argument to CONTAINS needs more explanation. To what does it refer? It should probably be changed to be consistent with other qualifiers, as in IN_FOLDER or IN_TREE, or else needs much more description. If it is completely repository-specific and has no defined behavior then maybe it should be removed altogether. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
