Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (CMIS-298) Description of DecimalObject-Type Prop Defs needs more detail.

Description of Decimal Object-Type Prop Defs needs more detail.
---------------------------------------------------------------

                 Key: CMIS-298
                 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-298
Project: OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Domain Model
    Affects Versions: Draft 0.62
            Reporter: Ryan McVeigh
            Assignee: Ethan Gur-esh
            Priority: Minor

Precision (as either 64 or 32 bits) is insufficient to describe the precision of a decimal number. Is this presuming the "single" and "double" of IEEE-754-1985? If IEEE-754-2008, does this need to be more specific, e.g. between binary64 and decimal64?

I'm sure this is repository-specific, but perhaps we can clue users in with more detail around precision.
