Subject: [OASIS Issue Tracker] Created: (CMIS-505) getObjectParentsconfusing
getObjectParents confusing -------------------------- Key: CMIS-505 URL: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/browse/CMIS-505 Project: OASIS Content Management Interoperability Services (CMIS) TC Issue Type: Improvement Components: Web Services Binding Affects Versions: Draft 0.63 Reporter: Martin Hermes Assignee: Al Brown The method getObjectParents has a parameter includeObjectPaths. The objectPath is returned as a property. I would expect that if objectPath is a property, the filter determines if the property is returned or not. On the other hand getObjectParents() is the only method which returns this property. If objectPath is a property, I would also expect that each method returning properties can include this property. To avoid this confusion I would suggest not returning objectPath as a property but adding an additional field "path" to the response structure of getObjectParents. -- This message is automatically generated by JIRA. - If you think it was sent incorrectly contact one of the administrators: http://tools.oasis-open.org/issues/secure/Administrators.jspa - For more information on JIRA, see: http://www.atlassian.com/software/jira
