Subject: RE: [cmis] Browser binding for CMIS

Hi Mary,

Currently, we have a few TC members who would like to exchange ideas and
explore the prospect of a "browser binding" for CMIS. There is no
committed deliverable at this point, nor has the TC made a decision on
the course of action regarding this capability. What we need is some
brainstorming among interested members, not the entire TC. We want to
encourage/facilitate such collaboration, making sure all TC members have
a chance to participate if they wish. I'll let the TC decide whether
forming a subcommittee is a suitable way to accomplish what we want to
do.

David

Hi David,

It sounds like you want to create a subcommittee? The proper way to do
that (in case you haven't) is for the TC to agree on creating a
subcommittee by accepting a proposal that includes the name of the
subcommittee, a brief statement of purpose, and the name of the person
who will lead (chair) the subcommittee.

If you already have that information and can send it to me I can get
the group created; if not, please put it on the agenda for your next
meeting.

Regards,

Mary

Standards are like parachutes: they work best when they're open.
