A suggestion regarding the (back-end) information would be to introduce default values for type definitions.

A use case for such a scenario would be a record/dossier, where one of the properties would be used specifically for identification.
A dossier would contain documents (and other such objects), all of which belong to the dossier and therefore would also contain
this property for identification.

The mixin would be attached to existing documents and objects in order to create references. By default the type definition of the dossier/record would 
include a reference to its corresponding mixin.

So therefore a grouping of all documents and objects referencing the Dossier/Record can also be achieved by reusing the same ID.
