the Schema (which have the same namespace URI) are in use.  Because of this,
some applications, notably the oXygen XML editor, require a specific
'xml.xsd' Schema in order to know which version of the 'xml.xsd' Schema is
required.  This is why genericode has an explicit 'xml.xsd' Schema (which is
the later version of the Schema, even though genericode doesn't use
'xml:id').
