next teleconference meeting

Hello All

We are scheduling a Teleconference for July 19, 2001 at 2:00 
(Eastern).  The purpose of the telconf is to discuss the current and 
planned work items for the TC.     Items to be discussed include:

1.  Review of past activities:
Participation in ebXML Requirements and Technical Architecture Committees, 
OASIS's SAML, and W3C QA Activity
Resource of conformance materials listed on the web site.

2.  Dvelopment of a Conformance Guideline of ebXML and OASIS specifications
This guideline will initially address the new ebXML projects within OASIS, 
but will also be extended to apply to all OASIS specifications.  The 
objective is to help ensure that every OASIS specification includes a 
conformance statement and to work with TCs in the development of useable, 
implementable specifications and implementations.   Naturally, this work 
will need to be coordinated and hopefully have support/help from the other 
TCs as well as the OASIS Board.

3.  Identify other conformance related documents, frameworks, etc that 
could help TCs address conformance.  For example,  identify critical and 
mandatory components that every test suite should have.  The objective is 
to achieve quality, consistency and possibly reuse of test 
methodologies.  Additional documents could address criteria for how to 
include tests from multiple sources

4.  Outreach - participation with other TCs (e.g., SAML TC) and efforts 
(e.g., W3C's QA activity)

5  Modification to the TC's name and Charter.
Do we need to update this?

These are just a few ides that we would like to explore with you.  We 
welcome your suggestions for other topics.  If you plan to participate in 
this telconf - please send me email  - so that I can reserve enough phone 
lines.
