Vulnerability Reporting and Data eXchange SIG work at FIRST.org should be reviewed to assure proper integration where appropriate.  While focused on developing a Vulnerability ID Cross Reference System rather than a Common Security Advisory Format, the work there should inform this effort.  VRDX-SIG has expressed support for the NIST Vulnerability Description Ontology (a.k.a. Vulntology).
