Subject: Observation Rename
On the call today, we talked about some of the confusion around the object of data called "Observation" and the relationship used to link an Observation with other stuff called "Sighting". There seems to be a lot of confusion with these terms (due to their overlap) and it makes it hard to explain.... This is obviously a sign of something we need to fix. One option we talked about was just renaming one or both of the objects.... What if we renamed "Observation" to "Observation Data" or something similar? Would it then be more clear that this object just contains data or facts? Other options, since this object can only support CybOX is we call it "CybOX Data". The term "Cyber Data" was shot down on the call. Thoughts???? Other options????
