Subject: Re: [cti-taxii] Question

Both thanks :).

I would like to hear about the SC and goals, but also to discuss ideas about the future of TAXII. I believe that we should discuss the need for high-level goals to be agreed at the CTI level that would help direct each of the SCs. An example being:

- There is only one way to do something

If we are able to get some clear 'criteria' that anything we produce needs to adhere to, then that will help us measure what we generate against that criteria. This will help us in the longer term as it will help us diffuse future arguments as the winner will be the thing that meets the CTI criteria best.

We can then also derive our own criteria that extends from the CTI criteria, and that will drive our development goals.

TAXII SC,

Mark and I have a question for you about what you would like to see on tomorrows kickoff call.

We had planned on having a high level overview of the SC and goals discussion...  However, we are now thinking you might like to hear some of our thoughts on the future of TAXII.  If you would like to have this discussion tomorrow as well please let us know.

Thanks,

Bret
