Subject: Re: [cti-taxii] type property on resources

What is the rational to bring it back?
It is not very REST-ful to have a "type" on responses.

type property on resources

All,
Several months ago we decided to remove
the "type" property from all of the TAXII resources based on
discussions from this community. Since that time there have been
a few suggestions to bring it that property value back. I want to
make sure we get this right, so I am bringing this to the list to see if
anyone wants to chime in on this. In the absence of discussion we
will stay with what we have, and that is NOT having the "type"
property.
The rational we heard to remove it was
that you will "know" which resource you are getting based on
the URL endpoint you are talking to, so there is no need to also have a
"type" property.
