cti-python-stix2 v1.2.0 Released

Hello everyone,

 

We’ve released cti-python-stix2 v1.2.0 [1] on PyPI. python-stix2 is a library for serializing, deserializing, storing, retrieving, and manipulating STIX 2 data. For more information, see the documentation available on ReadTheDocs [2].

 

Release notes are available on GitHub [3], and outlined below.

• Updates support of all object types to STIX 2.1 WD05 (CSD02), including SCOs as TLOs.
• Updates id properties to take a spec_version parameter, to handle id generation differences.
• Changes the exception class hierarchy.
• Adds functions for calculating semantic equivalence of two objects.
• Fixes handling of custom observable extensions.
• Fixes bug with timestamp precision preservation in MarkingDefinition objects.

 

Please try it out, and if you have any questions or issues using it, let us know! This is an OASIS TC Open Repository, so contributions are welcome. Updates to the other OASIS Open CTI Repositories are coming soon.
