Subject: Re: [cti] Inviting nominations for Chair of Cyber Threat Intelligence (CTI) TC,
I'll be able to tell you better after the upcoming TC CYBER meeting where I'll be giving a presentation on this topic. However, thus far, there seems only appreciation for DHS moving forward here, and there have been no adverse optics. In the international cybersecurity activity, government representatives - the CESG has begun to assume leading roles, as has the MIIT in China. Maybe as Phase 2 evolves and there is a clearer picture of CTI platform evolution, an additional chair might be appropriate. However, the introduction of sub-committees and chairs for more specific use case and development activities, will likely witness many additional chairs for that work. --tony On 2015-06-11 11:15 AM, Trey Darley

Don't get me wrong, I support Rich for *chair* 110%. I'm merely supporting the argument Pete put forward for a non-US co-chair. --
