Ballot Passed: Approve Open Repository for STIX Schemas and Examples

The ballot (https://www.oasis-open.org/committees/ballot.php?id=2961) to approve the creation of an OASIS Open repository for STIX Schemas and Examples has passed 44-0 and we’ll proceed with requesting and creating the repository.

 

OASIS Open repositories (https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/open-repositories) are Github repositories that support the activities of a TC in hosting open source content for non-work products that support or supplement its standards work. In this case, we’ll host non-normative JSON schemas and examples for STIX 2.x. Greg Back from MITRE will maintain the repository, but the code will be owned by OASIS. Contributors (including Greg) are not required to be TC members and will all be required to sign a Contributor License Agreement (CLA) when contributing content: https://www.oasis-open.org/resources/open-repositories/cla.

 

Greg will send a follow up to the list once the repository is created.
