Re: [cti] Motion for Open Repository for Python TAXII Server library

In case there are any concerns, this TAXII server will (intentionally) not include many features which would be desirable in a “production-grade” TAXII server (such as robust user account management). We don’t expect (or want) this library to compete with commercial products. It’s mainly for testing and development purposes (for the TAXII client library, python-stix2, etc.); we hope others developing TAXII software can find it useful in the same way.

I move that the TC approve by unanimous consent requesting OASIS to set up an OASIS Open Repository project named cti-taxii-server using the following pieces of information:

Purpose Statement: The taxii-server is a Python library which will process HTTPS requests from TAXII clients in conformance with the TAXII specification.

Initial Maintainers: Greg Back, Rich Piazza

Open Source License: BSD-3-Clause License
